What to Expect
Warm-up Exercises: Fast-paced sketches to ‘get your eye in’ and get to know the model.
Sustained Studies: Build up a series of detailed portraits with Hannah guiding you step by step.
Techniques Covered:
Tonal values & shading for volume
Composition & narrative in portraits
Line vs. tonal build-up
Simple measurements & shadow identification
Hannah will demonstrate her own process, provide one-on-one guidance, and encourage experimentation with materials and approaches.
Materials
All basic materials are provided. Feel free to bring your own if you’d like to explore additional media. A packed lunch is optional.
