Bespoke and unique class for those wanting to make an alla prima painting on panel or paper. This bespoke class with a max. of 1 other students or artists is catered towards those who have no experience with oil painting or are feeling rusty and want to take a brush and dip into some colour. This class is purely about handling oil paint in mediums, colour handling and learning ways to create different tones, in monotone. This means creating a wide range of tones and applying them to oil paper. Different techniques in application including wiping out will be demonstrated for the students to gain a wider understand of techniques.
What’s included?
Course fee covers all costs: oil paints, papers, tuition, materials and studio equipment. Use of our studio including easels, aprons, glass palette, extensive library of art books and printing facilities. With your consent, your paintings may be shared on social media and our online gallery.
Refreshments: Wine, tea, coffee and water, biscuits and olives.
What to bring?
Wear clothes that can get dirty and bring your creativity. Aprons and haus shoes are provided; you may bring slippers. We’ll email all details before class. If unwell, please don’t attend and inform us. You can bring your own brushes if you like.

Classes held in our Neukölln attic studio, a quiet, historic space in the art district, ideal for focus and creativity. We are a 2 minute walk afrom Rathaus neukölln.
