Fruzsina Bognár

Fruzsina Bognár  is a Berlin-based artist. Working primarily with oil paint, she uses multiple layers of light washes to create evocative, dreamlike compositions. Her work often explores themes of disconnection, depicting figures who share the same space but fail to see or recognize one another, reflecting on the fragile boundaries of identity within a larger community. Her works are biographical, often using surrealistic, theatrical elements to examine the universality of her personal experiences. 

Since 2024, she has been a resident artist at Burnt Sienna Art School.
