About the studio in neukölln

Our studio for the foundation course is an historic yet intimate space tucked away in a private attic in the heart of Neukölln. The unique solace and peace the studio is naturally imbued with provides a creative haven for art lovers and students of the traditional arts. We have one main painting space a kitchen area and a roof space. The main hub of activity takes place in the main space. To find us you must book an appointment or class and instructions will be sent. The studio is not open to the public under any circumstances and we pride ourselves around privacy with a focus on the creation of painting in a environment that is fully tuned to understand and developing skills in painting and drawing without disturbance.

The actual space is rough and exposed beams jut out around the roof. We have a collection of objects , anquites and books that makes the space truely unique including crucifixes, exquisite and rare artists catalogues and busts and plaster models of heads. Many oil painting brushes are well used and flecks of paint adorn the floors and walls. If you are looking for a sterile environment where you might be able to produce a copy of a Van Gogh in a group of 10 with cheap wine and cheap oil paints thats not us. HOwever with us you will develop your own unique style of painting and you might find we have decent bottle of wine and an even more expensive tube of oil paint!
