Exhibited artist · Mother Force One
Livia Sophie Ködderitzsch is an oil painter whose practice moves between realism and surreal interruption. Beginning with portraiture, she increasingly explores the body as a central subject. Distortion, doubled forms, fragmented features and strange bodily details create images that feel both familiar and unsettling.
Her work considers the female body as a site of visibility, vulnerability and power. Questions of objectification, domestic roles, care and the expectations placed on women’s bodies shape her paintings. In Mother Force One, these concerns extended into a reflection on motherhood as physical, complex and transformative.
