Mahda Samimifar
Mahda Samimifar is an Iranian painter and a member of Burnt Sienna’s mentoring and residency community. Her painting moves between figuration and abstraction, using the human body to explore emotion and meaning. Flesh, gesture and distorted forms become a visual language through which figures shift and dissolve. Rather than pursuing a fixed likeness, she creates images that evoke presence, memory and imagination, holding vulnerability and intensity together.
