Stephanie Hamer (b. 1991, Manchester, UK) is a painter. A self-taught artist, she was a resident at Burnt Sienna Art Studio in Berlin from 2020 to 2025. During this period, she also completed the London-based Turps Banana Mentorship Programme (2024–25). In 2026, she founded Kunst&Kritz, a constructive feedback programme supporting emerging artists.
In 2023, Hamer took part in several international artist residencies, including Buinho in Portugal, Herhúsið in Iceland and Gullkistan in Iceland. During these residencies, she began developing her ongoing series, Father Knows Best.
Her first solo exhibition, also titled Father Knows Best, opened in Berlin in 2025. Hamer’s work has been included in group exhibitions across the UK and Europe, including L’Origine du monde, a group exhibition featuring Berlin-based women artists.
A selection of her paintings appeared in the 2024 feature film Ravens, directed by Mark Gill. Her work is held in private collections throughout Europe.
